Orlando
is about a gender-bending English lord who achieves hundreds of years of age,
living from the time of Queen Elizabeth to 1928. It is a really strange and
abstract story, and I think that I’d heard before that that’s how Virginia
Woolf writes, but it was really weird. I liked her style of writing though,
especially when she made jokes. Woolf is funny. My main criticism is that it
was hard to understand at many points and it seemed to go off in many
directions at once.
