This is
a book that seemed really good at first and then wasn’t as good. I thought it
was gonna be great stories about her telling men that the stuff they’re
explaining to her was something she knew or even wrote, but that’s only the
first essay. The rest of the essays in the book are very theoretical and
abstract, artsy stuff that I didn’t like as much. I learned two good facts
though: nearly two-thirds of all women killed by guns are killed by their
partner or ex-partner and that murder is a crime committed by men 90% of the
time.
